今年の夏も郡上八幡へ行ってきました。
昨年に続き今年も郡上おどりの通常開催は中止。。。
寂しい夏となりましたが、水の町「郡上八幡」は今年も美しかった。
今回はさくらももこさんも泊まったことがあるという吉田屋さんに一泊して郡上八幡の町を満喫しました。吉田屋さんは鰻店でもあり、うなぎの味も絶品。部屋（洋室ツイン）も広くて綺麗。郡上八幡の町を楽しむには絶好のロケーションです。また泊まりにきます！
いつもお決まりのコース「道の駅明宝」で明宝ハム食べて、郡上八幡駅で電車を撮って、郡上八幡の街へ。
今回、せっかく街中に泊まったということで、夜と早朝にも街を散策しました。
酷暑の中を歩き回った後は「お抹茶処宗祇庵」で冷たいものをいただいてまったり過ごす。宗祇庵さんのすぐ側には小駄良川の流れと名水百選第一号の「宗祇水」があって、なんとも涼やかな居心地です。
I went to Gujo Hachiman again this summer.
Following last year, the regular Gujo Odori dance was cancelled again this year.
It was a sad summer, but Gujo Hachiman, the town of water, was beautiful again this year.
This time, we stayed overnight at Yoshidaya, where Momoko Sakura has stayed before, and enjoyed Gujo Hachiman to the fullest. Yoshida-ya is also an eel restaurant, and their eels are excellent. The rooms (Western-style twin rooms) were spacious and clean. It’s a great location to enjoy Gujo Hachiman. I will come back to stay again!
We took the usual course of eating Meiho ham at Roadside Station Meiho, took a picture of the train at Gujo Hachiman Station, and then went to the city of Gujo Hachiman.
This time, since we were staying in the city, we took a walk around the city at night and early in the morning.
After a long day of walking around in the intense heat, we went to the Matcha Tea House Sogian for a cold drink. Right next to Sogion is the Odara River and the first of the 100 best waters, “Sogisui“ making it a very cool and comfortable place to stay.
I wish I could convey the beauty of Gujo Hachiman to you.
