I never thought there was such a wonderful cruise ship.
I was really impressed with it, so please check it out.
I was so excited when I saw Kana, the main character, and her friend on the TV drama “Chokotto Kyoto ni Sundemita” (I tried to live in Kyoto for a little while). I made a reservation to celebrate my birthday this month.
The cruising scenery was wonderful as it was the mid-autumn moon on the day of the cruise. From the Dotonbori River to the area around the Glico sign, we passed through the bustling streets of Osaka. On the way, there is the loud voices of drunk people.
Passing through Sakaisuji and Nipponbashi, we continue on the back side of the city. Turning from the Dotonbori River to the Higashi-Yokobori River under the overpass of the Hanshin Expressway, you are in a different world. The piers look like the columns of a temple and the reflections are fantastic. Looking up at the Higashi-Senba JCT area, you can see a magnificent view of the highway in layers. At the Higashi Yokobori River sluice gate in front of the Tosabori River, it is necessary to adjust the water level in order to pass through a river with a different water level. Here, visitors can see the water level adjustment process, which is not usually visible.
Once you enter the Tosabori River, the scenery changes dramatically and your field of vision opens up. Nakanoshima Island, skyscrapers, and a beautiful bridge lit up with lights appear. The beauty of the famous Osaka City Central Public Hall, the symbol of Nakanoshima, is striking.
Turning back before Yodoyabashi Bridge, you will be able to enjoy the Mid-Autumn Moon while walking along the path. On this day, the surface of the water was calm and the reflections of Naniwabashi Bridge (a.k.a. Lion Bridge), Tenjinbashi Bridge, and buildings were very beautiful.
From Nakanoshima to the end of the Okawa River, Osaka Castle and the mid-autumn moon can be seen in front of Kawasaki Bridge (this bridge was also beautifully lit up). After entering the Neyagawa River, we passed under the Keihan Line, and this time we could see Osaka Castle from in front of OBP (Osaka Business Park).
Then, we will go to the last stop, Hachikenyahama boat pier.
Even now, looking back at the video, I was moved once again. I want many people to see this view, and I urge you to actually get on a “OFUNE CAMOME” boat and see it for yourself.
The concept of the OFUNE CAMOME is “a small house floating on the river.
As the concept suggests, you can spend a relaxing time viewing the spectacular view of Osaka from the river.
The popularity of the “OFUNE CAMOME” tour is already high, and it is likely to continue to grow in the future. I hope they will offer another tour in the near future.
I’d like to go on another tour soon! And also during the cherry blossom season!
